Who We Are

Our Goal

The aim of the foundation is to ensure that through education and
mentorship we can provide the marginalized communities within
our home counties a chance at decent work, sustainable
towns/communities, and sustainable economic growth.
Our driving force is reimagining education. The
communities that we support in Samburu, Marsabit and
Isiolo are majorly nomadic communities living under
very harsh climate conditions and in a very vast region.
It is very challenging to bring a number of them under
one roof for mentorship and a proper in class
curriculum. We therefore decided to have smaller
centres across the region where we focus trainings and
mentorship forums to smaller, manageable groups.

Our HIGHLIGHTS

Menstrual Hygiene and Health

Most of the children from the vulnerable homes in the
northern of Kenya access most of the basic needs by
virtue of them going to school.
Distributed over 30,000 sanitary towels and
conducted menstrual health & hygiene programs.
We have supported 2000 girls with menstrual hygiene
training and sanitary products.

Energy

When Covid 19 hit and schools closed, we saw a rise and adaptation of digital learning to ensure that
children do not stop their various curriculums.
This was positively embraced all over however children in these arid and semi-arid areas do not have
internet or even electricity let alone the ability to afford laptops to perform the digital learning processes.
In our efforts to help bridge this, we distributed 1,000 solar kits embedded with radios to 400 vulnerable
families in a campaign to light up the manyattas

Community Dialogues/Mentorship

Community Dialogues to improve human rights knowledge and activism. The aim of these dialogues is to create change agents and champions within the community setup. Studies have shown that for community solutions to have longevity, impact, and sustainability, they must come from the consumers/users and in our case, these are the community people. For our solutions to work in these specific communities, we must get the community leadership by in and these dialogues foster growth and rapport between us. For capacity building, we are working on developing soft training skills for our champions that includes finance management like table banking, health management mechanisms, education and skill growth like bead making, livestock management skills etc. We are integrating sport activities and talent nurturing with the youth. Encouraging both boys and girls to take up sporting activities like football, volleyball and talent growth activities
